Police Precinct Community Council Meetings

Many of you may already know this, but our block is somewhat unique in that is covered by two police precincts - the south side of 127th street is in the 28th precinct and the north side is in the 32nd precinct.

There are monthly Community Council meetings held at each precinct which are ways for the police to communicate happenings in the precinct and they are also a place to get to know and connect with our neighbors. We went to the September meeting and it was very worthwhile. We recommend attending to anyone interested in becoming more involved in the neighborhood.

Precinct 28 Community Council Meeting
The precinct community council meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the precinct station house.

Precinct 32 Community Council Meeting
The 32 Precinct Community Council meets on the third Thursday of each month at the Salvation Army Temple, 540 Lenox Avenue at 7:00 p.m.
